Research Related Interests
I am a PhD Candidate in Accounting and Corporate Governance at Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia. I am also a research assistant at Macquarie Business School. I primarily do research on organizational culture, leadership, and employee empowerment in the use of information systems context. Currently, I am working on one of my PhD projects which is related to the contingency research by examining the effect of employee empowerment and employee alignment in the use of information systems specifically in emerging economies. When employees’ behavior align with organizational strategy, employees will have a common understanding to perform their job task effectively and efficiently. In addition, employees will have autonomy and authority to do their assigned tasks. Hence, employees’ behavior will result in the information systems success due to the positive attitude of organizational members.
