Related Research Interests

My research explores how relational mechanisms affect individuals within organizational settings. Specifically, it examines how gratitude operates to not only foster relational ties and increase prosocial behavior, but also increase employee voice, achievement, persistence, and effort. Additionally, my work focuses on both how individuals experience gratitude within the workplace and why individuals experience that gratitude. My dissertation addresses why individuals adhere to moral principle and considers how gratitude may positively and negatively affect that adherence.
