Kerry Roberts Gibson is an Assistant Professor of Management at Babson College. Her primary research interest is workplace relationships. She focuses on relationship development mechanisms, such as self-disclosure and gratitude. She explores how these relationship mechanisms drive outcomes, such as organizational identification, engagement, and voice.
She is published in the Journal of Vocational Behavior and has presented her research at the Academy of Management Annual Meeting, the Positive Relationships at Work Microcommunity Research Meeting, as well as to company executives. She has taught Organizational Behavior and Managing Human Resources in a Regulatory Environment.
Before enrolling in the PhD Program, Kerry worked as a senior digital marketing consultant for a restaurant chain, managing a range of projects including a chain-wide customer service initiative and sales innovation strategy. She is also a former educational consultant and middle school math and reading teacher. She holds an MBA from Georgia Tech and a BS in Education from Georgia State University.
