Sharon Ehasz is a doctoral candidate in the Weatherhead School of Management’s Department of Organizational Behavior at Case Western Reserve University. Her research interests include leadership and coaching, with a specific interest in interpersonal relationships, belonging, and development. She feels passionately about the importance of teaching. Sharon has published on coaching, teaching, and emotional intelligence and has additionally presented on interpersonal humor and leveraging military veterans’ skills in higher education. The aim of all her work is to communicate to others that they matter. Sharon received her Bachelor of Science in Management degree from the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado, graduating as a distinguished graduate. While stationed in Alaska, she earned her Master of Business Administration from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks, also with distinction. Sharon is a retired Lieutenant Colonel from the United States Air Force. She is pursuing her PhD and academia in order to spend her future investing in others.
