Sharon Ehasz is a fourth-year PhD candidate in the Weatherhead School of Management’s Department of Organizational Behavior at Case Western Reserve University.  Her research interests include leadership and coaching, with a specific interest in interpersonal relationships and development.  She also feel passionately about the importance of teaching.  As a military veteran, she is interested in the veteran experience in higher education.  Sharon has published on coaching, teaching, and emotional intelligence and has additionally presented on interpersonal humor and leveraging veteran skills in higher education.  The aim of all her work is to communicate to others that they matter.  

Sharon is also a career military officer currently serving as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Ohio Air National Guard.  She has proudly served in the active duty Air Force, the United States Air Force Reserves, and the Air National Guard at squadron, wing, and headquarters levels.

Sharon received her Bachelor of Science in Management degree from the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado, graduating as a distinguished graduate.  While stationed in Alaska, Sharon earned her Master of Business Administration from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks, also with distinction.  She started the PhD program in order to spend her future investing in others.
