Related Research Interests

I am interested in employee well-being, particularly in thriving, and how individuals protect their well-being by demonstrating agency and adaptive behaviour in managing social interactions. In addition, I look at how work and non-work domains, particularly the social aspects such as marital interactions and supervisor support, interact to influence employee well-being. My current research focuses on what and how individuals and organizations can do to promote employee thriving. In my work, I investigate how employees are influenced by workplace social dynamics and what individuals and organizations can do to reduce harmful and increase positive interpersonal dynamics. To that end, I am interested in the effectiveness of interventions, e.g., mindfulness, as strategies to manage these dynamics. As such, I draw on quantitative methods such as experimental, longitudinal, and experience sampling methods to examine multilevel effects.
